Can Win vs. Will Win

Have you ever been around a truly successful or positive person? When you hear them speak it’s like they can see the future. Their presence is felt, and they let others know that no matter what comes up they will succeed, not just can succeed.

Do you see the difference? Truly successful people aren’t afraid to put themselves out there. They aren’t worried about speaking in terms of we will win, and we will succeed as opposed to just we can.

Some people may find it arrogant or cocky to speak in these terms, but when preparation meets opportunity, great things happen. When you have the right mindset, it points you in the right direction and allows you to do the things necessary to succeed.

The problem with can is you are building a back door, an escape plan in your thought process. That if the going gets tough, you have an out. With will you are all in.

As you set out on your next project or opportunity use the phrase we will versus we can and see the difference it makes to you and your team.

Until next time…I’m Marty, make every minute count.
